Slamet Volcano, Indonesia
An increased number of earthquakes have been recorded at Slamet volcano in Indonesia. Brown plumes were observed rising 50 m above the summit. The summit area has been closed to climbers. Slamet volcano was raised to level 2 alert (Waspada) on 21st April 2009.
